Чиста енергія нової ери: інтеграція технологій «зеленого» водню та біометану

10 березня 2021 року в центральному офісі ПрАТ «МХП» відбулася знакова подія для інновацій в енергетиці – підписання Меморандуму про взаєморозуміння та стратегічне партнерство між ПрАТ «МХП Еко Енерджи» та німецькою компанією «Ellman Engineering» у проекті: «БІОЛОГІЧНА МЕТАНІЗАЦІЯ «ЗЕЛЕНОГО» ВОДНЮ»

На заході були присутні представники міжнародних організацій:

Олена Волошина – Керівник діяльності Міжнародної Фінансової Корпорації (IFC) в Україні (онлайн);

Джордж Крістодореску – координатор сектору енергоефективності та захисту клімату GIZ;

Іма Хренова-Шимкіна – заступник директора проекту «Реформи в сфері енергоефективності в Україні»;

Кирило Томляк – менеджер програми ЄБРР.

Державне агентство із енергоефективності та енергозбереження представляв заступник Голови установи Юрій Шафаренко.

Серед учасників також були співзасновники та партнери Спілки Global 100% RE Ukraine: Георгій Гелетуха –  Голова правління Біоенергетичної Асоціації України; Олександр Рєпкін – Голова правління Української водневої ради; Олексій Корчміт – Голова праління Асоціації енергосервісних компаній; Степан Кудря – директор Інституту відновлюваної енергетики НАНУ та Леонід Уніговський – директор ТОВ «Нафтогазбудінформатика». Вони привітали підписання Меморандуму та висловили сподівання на успішну подальшу українсько-німецьку інноваційну співпрацю.

Меморандум та подальша його реалізація базується на успішному багаторічному досвіді співпраці між Україною та Німеччиною з розвитку біогазових технологій в Україні  і, зокрема, реалізації одного з найбільших біогазових комплексів – проекті МХП «Біогаз Ладижин»  потужністю 12 МВт. Цей біогазовий комплекс є одним з найбільших в Європі.

Шляхом інтеграції виробництва «зеленого водню» в існуючі технології анаеробного зброджування біомаси та органічних відходів можна досягнути підвищення потужності  та ефективності роботи біогазових комплексів.   Технологія біологічної метанізації «зеленого» водню допоможе суттєво підвищити обсяги виробництва «чистої» енергії, скоротити викиди парникових газів, замістити викопне паливо, в тому числі імпортоване. Це інноваційні тенденції, що відповідають Європейському зеленому курсу та є необхідною передумовою глобального енергетичного переходу.

Cпівпраця поділятиметься на три етапи: ґрунтовні лабораторні дослідження, експериментальна частина та втілення розроблених технологій на практиці. Це дасть можливість отримати перші пілотні проекти як в Україні, так і в ЄС, які потім  можна буде мультиплікувати в промисловому використанні.

Інтеграція технологій «зеленого водню» та біометану  – це справжній прорив в «чистій» енергетиці. Біогазові технології та біоенергетика в цілому є одними з найбільш надійних в галузі відновлюваної енергетики, адже виробництво енергії є прогнозованим та стабільним, на відміну від волатильної ситуації із сонцем та вітром. До спільної роботи над проектом планується залучити ряд потужних німецьких наукових установ. Важливим етапом співпраці буде проведення спільних практичних лабораторних і промислових досліджень з інтеграції «зеленого водню» в анаеробний процес для збільшення виробництва біометану. Реалізація проекту дозволить суттєво декарбонізувати виробничі процеси».

Варто зазначити, що влітку 2020 року в Берліні було започатковане Німецько-Українське енергетичне партнерство, і ключовими були визначені п’ять сфер, зокрема: воднева економіка, енергоефективність, відновлювальні джерела енергії та декарбонізація. Напрями співпраці згідно меморандуму між МХП Еко Енерджи та Ellmann Engineering стосуються усіх вищеперерахованих сфер.

Попереду в України та Німеччини ще багато проектів з інноваційної співпраці та технологічного партнерства.

[:en]On the 10th of March 2021 in the central office of PrJSC «MHP» a significant event, a signature of Memorandum on mutual understanding and strategic pertnership between PrJSC «MHP Eco Energy» and German company «Ellmann Engineering» under project «Biological Methanization of «Green» Hydrogen» took place.

The document was signed by the President of «MHP Eco Energy» Oleksandr Dombrovskyi and the Director of «Ellmann Engineering» Reik Ellmann.

The following representatives of the international organizations took part in the event:

• Olena Voloshyna – the Head of the International Finance Corporation in Ukraine;
• George Cristodorescu – Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection Sector Coordinator, GIZ Ukraine;
• Ima Khrenova-Shymkina – Deputy Head of the GIZ project “Energy Efficiency Reform in Ukraine»;
• Kyrylo Tomlyak – Manager of EBRD program.

State Agency of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine was represented by Deputy Head of the Agency, Yurii Shafarenko.

The following Co-founders and Partners of Global100% Re Ukraine platform also took part in the event: Georgii Geletukha, the Chairman of the Board of Bioenergy Association of Ukraine; Oleksandr Riepkin, the President of Ukrainian Hydrogen Council; Oleksii Korchmit, the Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Association of Energy Service Companies; Stepan Kudrya, the Director of the Institute of Renewable Energy of the National Academy the Sciences of Ukraine; Leonid Unigovskyi, Director General at Naftogazbudinformatyka Ltd. They welcomed the Memorandum signature and expressed hope for further successful innovative Ukrainian-German cooperation.

During the official signature ceremony the President of «MHP Eco Energy» Oleksandr Dombrovskyi stated: «Implementation of modern innovative solutions is one of the key priorities of the company. The Parties to the Memorandum agreed on the technological and innovative partnership. However, it is not the first common project, the Memorandum and its further implementation are based on successful lasting experience of cooperation between Ukraine and Germany on biogas technologies development in Ukraine and, in particular, on the realization of one of the biggest biogas complexes – «Biogas Ladyzhyn» project by «MHP» with 12 MWt capacity. This complex is one of the biggest in Europe.

By integration of «green» hydrogen in the existing anaerobic fermentation technologies of biomass and organic waste it is possible to achieve the increase of capacity and effectiveness of biogas complexes operation.

The biological methanization of «green» hydrogen technology will drastically increase the «clean» energy production, reduce the greenhouse gas emissions, substitute fossil fuels, imported ones in particular. These are the innovative trends that correspond the European Green Deal and are the necessary prerequisites for global energy transition.

According to Oleksandr Dombrovskyi, the cooperation will include three steps: profound laboratory research, experimental part and practical implementation of the technologies. This will give the possibility to obtain the first pilot projects both in Ukraine and in Europe that could be multiplied in the industrial use.

The Director of «Ellmann Engineering» Reik Ellmann gave more information on the innovative activities of his company and his vision of cooperation : «Ellmann Engineering is a German engineering company in the field of biogas technologies and water treatment. We’ve already got sustainable partnership with «MHP Eco Energy». Our specialists proposed an innovative technology of chicken post recycle for «Biogas Ladyzhyn» project. Integration of «green» hydrogen and biomethane technologies is a real revolution in «clean» energy field. Biogas and bioenergy in general are one of the most reliable in the renewable energy sector due to the fact that energy production is predictable and stable, unlike the volatile situation with solar and wind energy. We are planning to engage some powerful German scientific institutions, that is why it is great pleasure that today not only sectoral associations are present, but also representatives from science. The important part of cooperation will consist of common practical laboratory and industrial research on «green» hydrogen integration in anaerobic process for increasing biomethane production capacity. The realization of the project will lead to significant decarbonization of industrial processes.»

It is worth mentioning that in summer 2020 in Berlin German-Ukrainian energy partnership was established. The key areas of cooperation include the following: hydrogen economy, energy efficiency, renewables and decarbonization. The vectors of cooperation under the Memorandum relate to all these spheres.

Numerous projects on innovative cooperation between Ukraine and Germany are ahead, in particular with «MHP Eco Energy».
