The gross portfolio of active loans outstanding at the end of September stood at 40.2 billion hryvnias for commercial borrowers and 3.9 billion hryvnias for the residential segment.<\/p>\n<p>Lending spanned a broad mix of technologies \u2014 solar, gas, wind, bioenergy and hydropower \u2014 across 22 regions. Banks also directed separate credit lines toward industrial battery energy storage systems, inverters, standalone batteries and thermal equipment modernisation, with total capacity across those projects reaching 944 MW.<\/p>\n<p>The NBU noted that the banking sector is now in its longest continuous lending-expansion period for energy restoration in more than 15 years.
