The seller can sell energy to anyone under a free contract and at a negotiated price.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This decision will help to expand competition in the retail electricity market and is aimed at developing distributed generation and ensuring the green transformation of the energy sector,&#8221; the regulator said.<br \/>\nThe innovation, which was adopted against the backdrop of a possible increase in electricity tariffs for households and projected summer blackouts, should create competition in the energy market and may become an additional source of income for Ukrainians.
