According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on his Telegram channel, these are installations necessary to ensure uninterrupted power supply to schools, hospitals and critical infrastructure facilities. Now, they can be installed without going through a number of licensing procedures.<\/p>\n

This will create a reserve of power in case of an emergency power outage and at the same time decentralize generation.<\/p>\n

Amendments have been made to CMU Resolution No. 1010 of 13.12.2017 \u201cOn Approval of Criteria for Determining Planned Activities Not Subject to Environmental Impact Assessment and Criteria for Determining Expansions and Changes in Activities and Facilities Not Subject to Environmental Impact Assessment\u201d and Resolution No. 1320 of 07.12.2023 \u201cSome Issues of Placing Gas Piston Cogeneration Units for the Period of Martial Law\u201d.<\/p>\n
