It establishes a single fixed electricity price for individual and collective household consumers at UAH 4.32 per kWh. The decision was made at a government meeting on May 31. The tariff will be valid until April 30, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>During the heating period (from October 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025), a preferential tariff for consumers using electric heating installations is provided at the level of UAH 2.64\/kWh (if they consume up to 2000 kWh of electricity per month during this period).<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cnight tariff\u201d with a two-zone meter will be UAH 2.16 per kWh.<\/p>\n<p>Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko noted that due to the economic situation, he could not afford to increase the price of electricity for households to the market level (almost 7.5 UAH\/kWh). However, the state cannot maintain the ultra-low preferential price for all consumers. The previous tariff of UAH 2.64 covered only a third of the real cost of electricity.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the media reported that the tariff might be increased on June 1 under a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/100REUA\/posts\/pfbid02GgDEEr9Vk8eir9d1fgvN9Tn8WA23ELAjx8E7E4iXPCYjZQJkXsFpqF7mJsy6s3j4l\">different scheme<\/a>.
