he Ministry of Energy of Ukraine issued Order No. 325 \u201cOn Approval of the Environmental Value of Electricity Generated from Renewable Energy Sources for 2024\u201d.<\/p>\n

According to the document, the environmental value of electricity from renewable energy sources for 2024 is 1232.84 kilograms of CO2<\/sub> equivalent per 1 MWh of electricity.<\/p>\n

The Order was prepared by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine with the active participation of experts from the Ministry’s Recovery and Reform Support Office to ensure compliance with the requirements of Law of Ukraine No. 3220-IX \u201cOn Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on the Restoration and Green Transformation of the Energy System of Ukraine\u201d in accordance with the Procedure for Determining the Environmental Value of Electricity Generated from Renewable Energy Sources, CMU Resolution No. 227 of February 27, 2024.<\/p>\n

Determination of the environmental value of electricity from renewable energy sources is one of the steps towards the introduction of a mechanism to guarantee the origin of electricity from renewable energy sources in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
