An international research team has developed a solar panel that uses a back panel made of natural zeolite-polyester resin as an alternative to traditional polyethylene terephthalate (PET) panels.<\/p>\n

The innovation is designed to reduce the environmental impact of the PET back panel and improve the thermal and mechanical properties of the solar module. The natural fiber substrate was manufactured using the vacuum injection molding (VARTM) method, which, according to scientists, provides optimal thermal management and insulation.<\/p>\n

The researchers say that the use of natural fiber coated with zeolite-polyester resin was a key factor in improving performance and reducing heat build-up in the panels.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe use of zeolite-polyester composites with natural fibers provides excellent structural integrity, uniformity and reliability,\u201d the researchers emphasize. \u201dAlthough the initial cost may be higher, the long-term benefits include lower maintenance costs and better performance, especially in harsh environments.<\/p>\n

The VARTM process is used to facilitate the flow of resin into a fiber bed contained in a vacuum-bagged mold. After impregnation, the composite part must be \u201ccured\u201d at room temperature, sometimes with additional post-curing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
