This is a flagship event that brings together industry leaders and policy makers to shape the future of biogas and biomethane in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The conference was attended by Anna Pastukh, legal expert of the Bioenergy Association of Ukraine. Based on the results of the trip, UABIO has prepared a voluminous material with all the key information from the event.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some important points from the speeches and presentations of the two days:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is necessary to clearly define the benefits of biogas, provide it with new investments and an improved regulatory framework.<\/li>\n<li>The biogas industry is a vivid example of what a circular economy is, which combines so many components.<\/li>\n<li>The use of biogas is expected to expand globally in the near future, and Europe will be a leader in the production of green gases.<\/li>\n<li>Biogas can play a crucial role in the transition to net-zero, as not everything can be done with electricity.<\/li>\n<li>The EU is preparing for a new legislative period, where one of the key priorities will be the implementation of a green industrial agreement.<\/li>\n<li>The target of 35 billion cubic meters of biomethane production is a realistic goal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>More about what was discussed at the European Biogas Conference can be found on the UABIO <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/uabio\/posts\/pfbid0sjgeenN9KTs1VTzqfdzzKM6t1ttiERwNhq2ANAWa4gGA5SVoLprLaxoxFNMyJiCwl\">Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The full text is available on the UABIO <a href=\"https:\/\/uabio.org\/news\/16830\/\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the end of October, the European Biogas Conference 2024 took place in Brussels.
