The communities plan to develop activities that do not have a carbon footprint.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Chervonohrad Industrial Park envisages a waste recycling plant, alternative energy enterprises, and solar power plants. We can also develop both green and industrial tourism, following the example of Poland. In the Silesian Voivodeship, mines were also closed. They revitalised them, so now there are museums and exhibition centres based on former mines&#8221;, \u2013 said Orest Hryniv, Acting Director of the Economic Policy Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, two wind and one hydropower projects are already at different stages of implementation. In addition, the region has 4 SPPs with a capacity of over 11 MW, 2 small hydropower plants with a capacity of 1,148 MW, and 1 biomass CHP plant with an electric capacity of 2.4 MW and a thermal capacity of 7.5 MW.<\/p>\n<p>The investment passport was developed with the support of the Fair Transformation and Green Recovery of Ukraine&#8217;s Energy Sector Project, which is being implemented in Ukraine by Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The district, which unites 7 communities, is preparing for the planned closure of mines, so it is focusing on green transformation among its development options.
