{"id":4244,"date":"2025-03-13T16:04:07","date_gmt":"2025-03-13T14:04:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/100re.org.ua\/?p=4244"},"modified":"2025-03-13T16:06:23","modified_gmt":"2025-03-13T14:06:23","slug":"usaid-terminates-75-million-agreement-with-the-energy-support-fund-of-ukraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/100re.org.ua\/en\/usaid-terminates-75-million-agreement-with-the-energy-support-fund-of-ukraine\/","title":{"rendered":"USAID terminates $75 million agreement with the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The US Agency for International Development USAID has terminated a $75 million grant agreement with the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>According to Energoreforma, this was announced on March 12 by the Energy Community Secretariat, which is the administrator of the fund.<\/p>\n<p>USAID informed the Energy Community Secretariat about the termination of the agreement on February 27, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The Secretariat is currently awaiting additional clarification from USAID.<\/p>\n<p>The $25 million agreement for the purchase of critical power generation and heating equipment was signed in 2023, and in 2024 USAID promised to provide the Fund with an additional $50 million.<\/p>\n<p>The Ukraine Energy Support Fund was established in April 2022.
