Construction is nearing completion on a solar power plant above parking at Kyiv\u2019s UNIT.City<\/a> innovation park \u2014 one of the largest such facilities in Ukraine. The project exemplifies the integration of sustainable energy solutions in urban infrastructure.<\/p>\n

The structure spans 0.6 hectares and will deliver 1.3 MW of installed capacity. A 2 MW energy storage system is planned for installation by the end of 2025. The project is financed by UDPR, part of the UFuture group.<\/p>\n

\"UNIT.City\"<\/p>\n

The solar power plant above the parking area will cover 414 parking spaces and provide part of the business campus\u2019s internal electricity demand. Operating fully off-grid, it offers key benefits such as energy independence, vehicle protection from sun and hail, lower electricity costs, and more efficient use of urban space.<\/p>\n

The project follows the model of a similar installation at Emily Resort in Lviv, demonstrating the scalability of such solutions nationwide.<\/p>\n
