Industry, energy, and local communities are already moving toward \u201cgreen\u201d standards, while higher education institutions often lack the tools to prepare the next generation of practitioners.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"503\" data-end=\"808\">To bridge this gap, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PAEUkr\">Professional Association of Environmentalists of the World (PAEW)<\/a>, in partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/energoatom.ua\">NAEC Energoatom<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Sustainability.Ukraine\">Office of Sustainable Solutions<\/a>, launched <a href=\"https:\/\/ukraine-oss.com\/virtualna-akademiya-ecoeducation-2\/\">EcoEducation<\/a> \u2014 Ukraine\u2019s first virtual academy where educators, students, and industry experts learn together.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"810\" data-end=\"1235\">The program combines 12 educational modules, practical case studies from Ukraine and abroad, and mentorship from leading experts at Arzinger, EVERLEGAL, Ukrenergo, business schools, and major industrial enterprises.<br data-start=\"1041\" data-end=\"1044\" \/>It is more than an online course \u2014 it is a bridge between theory and practice, helping educators modernize their approach and students gain the competencies demanded by today\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1242\" data-end=\"1309\">Environmental Education as a Pillar of Recovery and Resilience<\/h3>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1311\" data-end=\"1639\">\n<p data-start=\"1313\" data-end=\"1639\">\u201cEnvironmental education is needed not someday and not only for recovery \u2014 it\u2019s needed to win, to endure. The country that rebuilds differently \u2014 intelligently, efficiently, and safely for people and nature \u2014 will be the one that prevails,\u201d<br data-start=\"1553\" data-end=\"1556\" \/>\u2014 said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/myla.tsyganok\">Liudmyla Tsyhanok<\/a>, Founder and Director of the ESG Academy PAEW.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1641\" data-end=\"1937\">Environmental education has become a matter of national security. It builds professional communities capable of making decisions that strengthen the country\u2019s resilience.<br data-start=\"1811\" data-end=\"1814\" \/>Investing in \u201cgreen\u201d education is not an expense \u2014 it is an investment in the nation\u2019s ability to recover and thrive.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1944\" data-end=\"2008\">The Next Step \u2014 Aligning Education, Business, and the State<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2010\" data-end=\"2082\">For the green recovery to succeed, three key actors must act together:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2083\" data-end=\"2533\">\n<li data-start=\"2083\" data-end=\"2204\">\n<p data-start=\"2085\" data-end=\"2204\">Universities must update curricula, introduce real-case capstone projects, and implement dual education programs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2205\" data-end=\"2355\">\n<p data-start=\"2207\" data-end=\"2355\">Businesses should open production sites for student practice, invest in mentorship, and co-develop course content with university departments.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2356\" data-end=\"2533\">\n<p data-start=\"2358\" data-end=\"2533\">The State needs to launch financial and tax incentives for mentor-employers, ensure clear ESG regulations, and engage international funds in workforce training programs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2535\" data-end=\"2730\">Without a systemic approach \u2014 from updated programs to mentorship tracks and measurable outcomes \u2014 Ukraine risks having \u201cprojects on paper\u201d but no qualified professionals to bring them to life.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2737\" data-end=\"2804\">Building a Professional Ecosystem for Ukraine\u2019s Green Recovery<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2806\" data-end=\"3046\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/ukraine-oss.com\/virtualna-akademiya-ecoeducation-2\/\">EcoEducation<\/a> initiative demonstrates how constructive action can replace criticism.<br data-start=\"2897\" data-end=\"2900\" \/>Behind it stands an unprecedented concentration of expertise \u2014 lawyers, ecologists, analysts, mentors, scholars, and government representatives.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"3048\" data-end=\"3269\">\n<p data-start=\"3050\" data-end=\"3269\">\u201cEvery year we prove that action instead of criticism, and real assistance instead of rhetoric, is what Ukraine truly needs today \u2014 to take responsibility and shape its future,\u201d<br data-start=\"3227\" data-end=\"3230\" \/>\u2014 emphasized <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/myla.tsyganok\">Liudmyla Tsyhanok<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"3309\" data-end=\"3757\">For <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/myla.tsyganok\">Global 100% RE Ukraine<\/a>, this project is further proof that the green transformation begins with education.<br data-start=\"3423\" data-end=\"3426\" \/>We support the development of environmental education as the foundation for Ukraine\u2019s sustainable recovery.<br data-start=\"3533\" data-end=\"3536\" \/>Because achieving 100% renewable energy is impossible without 100% prepared people \u2014 professionals, educators, and leaders who are building a new economy that is safe for the environment, the energy system, and society.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The world is changing faster than university curricula.
