Both plants will be upgraded for biomethane production \u2014 an environmentally friendly fuel that plays a key role in the decarbonization of transport and industry.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"463\" data-end=\"797\">This is not the company\u2019s first such deal: earlier, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qcintel.com\/\"><strong data-start=\"515\" data-end=\"527\">Renergia<\/strong><\/a> acquired similar facilities in Gadesco (CR) and Rezzato (BS). In doing so, the company is consistently expanding its presence in the Lombardy region, creating an integrated agro-energy ecosystem where farms become active participants in the energy transition.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"1038\">\n<p data-start=\"801\" data-end=\"1038\">\u201cWith this acquisition, we are accelerating the energy transformation by supporting the development of Italy\u2019s agricultural biomethane and bioLNG sector \u2014 strategic for mobility and industry,\u201d noted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/lucavailati\/?originalSubdomain=it\"><em>Luca Vailati<\/em><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qcintel.com\/\"><strong>CEO of Renergia Group<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1329\">The biomethane produced will be delivered to the\u00a0Biomet GNL liquefaction plant, where it will be converted into <strong data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"1167\">bio-LNG<\/strong>, a renewable fuel for freight transport. This approach helps replace fossil fuels, reduce CO\u2082 emissions, and create added value within the agricultural sector.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1331\" data-end=\"1365\">Why this matters for Ukraine<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1367\" data-end=\"1598\">For Ukraine, this case is not just an interesting example but a practical roadmap.<br data-start=\"1453\" data-end=\"1456\" \/>Our country has a strong agricultural base, a well-developed network of biogas plants, and significant potential in organic waste resources.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1600\" data-end=\"1724\">Converting such facilities into biomethane production sites could have a tangible impact on the economy and energy system:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1726\" data-end=\"2146\"><strong data-start=\"1729\" data-end=\"1750\">For agribusiness:<\/strong> biomethane can become a new profitable \u201ccrop.\u201d Farmer cooperation in energy production generates added value for local communities.<br data-start=\"1882\" data-end=\"1885\" \/><strong data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"1906\">For investors:<\/strong> this is a high-return sector with the opportunity to export to the EU through the system of guarantees of origin.<br data-start=\"2020\" data-end=\"2023\" \/><strong data-start=\"2026\" data-end=\"2044\">For the state:<\/strong> modernization of biogas plants will bring foreign currency revenues, taxes, and reduce gas imports.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2148\" data-end=\"2357\">Italy demonstrates how to combine agricultural tradition with energy innovation.<br data-start=\"2228\" data-end=\"2231\" \/>Ukraine can take this step faster and on a larger scale \u2014 having the resources, expertise, and a clear strategic vision.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2359\" data-end=\"2681\">For <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/100REUA\/?_rdr\"><strong data-start=\"2363\" data-end=\"2389\">Global 100% RE Ukraine<\/strong><\/a>, this example is yet another confirmation that the path to energy independence lies in local solutions, partnerships with the agricultural sector, and green technologies.<br data-start=\"2564\" data-end=\"2567\" \/>Such projects shape a future where renewable energy becomes a real economic driver, not just a climate goal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The European biomethane sector is gaining momentum.
