Europe today runs roughly two thousand operating plants with installed output above 8 billion cubic metres per year.<\/p>\n<p>The number that will matter is conversion: what share of these pledges turns into commissioned plants on schedule. UABIO stresses that moving from investment intent to physical capacity depends on the regulatory conditions in each country, with predictable state policy, simpler permitting and grid access for producers as the key preconditions.<\/p>\n<p>Deploying the capital would support the decarbonisation of industry and transport and trim reliance on imported fossil fuels, while processing organic waste puts existing gas infrastructure to work within a circular-economy logic.
