Despite the challenges of war and the destruction of energy infrastructure, Ukraine is launching the international \u201cGreen Industrial Recovery Project\u201d<\/em> in cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and private Japanese companies.<\/p>\n The goal of the project is to support the sustainable recovery of Ukrainian industry and the development of green energy through the implementation of advanced technologies in the fields of biomethane and CO\u2082 utilization (CCU).<\/p>\n Harness the untapped potential of biomass for biomethane production through anaerobic digestion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Introduce CO\u2082 capture and utilization technologies generated during biomethane purification.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Develop a business model for the growth of Ukraine\u2019s domestic green industry, biomethane exports to the EU, and integration into the European energy market.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Attract investments into the recovery of Ukraine\u2019s energy sector through international partnerships.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Build a resilient, decentralized, and decarbonized energy system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Increase biomethane production to 20 billion m\u00b3 annually by 2050<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Use biomethane as a substitute for natural gas and boost the domestic renewable energy market.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Strengthen Ukraine\u2019s energy security and independence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Advance \u201cgreen\u201d CO\u2082 technologies as a new resource for industry.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Elevate Ukraine\u2019s role in the European and global energy transition.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization)<\/strong> \u2013 Coordinator.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Solution Creators Inc. An equally important task is CO\u2082 capture and utilization (CCU)<\/strong>.
