Ukrainian Contractor Delivers 120.78 MW Solar Park in Latvia for Green Genius

Solar Steelconstruction, a Ukrainian engineering and construction company, has completed a 120.78 MW utility-scale solar facility in Latvia on behalf of European renewable energy developer Green Genius.

The project involved installing 183,000 photovoltaic modules on custom-fabricated steel mounting structures. The scale of the installation places it among the largest solar parks in the Baltic region.

Solar Steelconstruction acted as general contractor across all phases of the work, covering engineering design, in-house manufacturing of the steel racking systems, logistics to the site, and full mechanical and electrical installation of the equipment.

The company manufactures its own metal structures and handles design and installation through to handover. For Solar Steelconstruction, the Latvia project represents one of its largest international contracts to date.

Green Genius develops renewable energy assets across EU member states. The completed Latvian plant adds 120.78 MW of solar generation capacity to Latvia’s power system.
