First Steps of the new Minister of Energy of Ukraine

A key step in this direction was the adoption of the draft law No. 12087-d, which is based on the EU’s energy legislation and aims to improve transparency, competition, and reliability in Ukraine’s energy market.

Hrynchuk is also focused on the development of renewable energy sources (RES) in Ukraine. She emphasizes the importance of transitioning to a sustainable energy future through the adoption of innovative technologies and the creation of flexible local solutions to enhance the energy system’s efficiency.

International Support
Svitlana Hrynchuk is actively working on attracting international support for the restoration of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. France, Germany, and other partner countries have already provided significant funding for the restoration of the energy system, which is a crucial step in ensuring energy security.
