“Guaranteed Buyer failed to hold a pilot green auction

The State Enterprise Guaranteed Buyer failed to hold a pilot online auction for the distribution of support quotas for enterprises producing electricity from alternative energy sources.

“The auction did not take place. The reason: there were no participants,” the company’s website said.

The auction was for guaranteed state support for solar generation of 11 MW.

According to the terms of the auction, the plant was to be built on the left bank of the Dnipro River, except for the temporarily occupied territories and the area of active hostilities.

The maximum amount of support that investors could claim was 9 euro cents per 1 kWh.
