NEURC approved the amount of payments to RES producers with the feed-in-premium

On July 17, the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC) approved the amount of payments for renewable energy generation operating under the feed-in-premium support, Energoreforma reports.

According to the calculations submitted for approval by SE Guaranteed Buyer, the amount of payment in February 2024 is UAH 880.93 thousand (excluding VAT), in March – UAH 13.229 million, in April – UAH 39.56 million, in May – UAH 52.35 million.

The compensation is calculated according to a complex formula that provides for the difference between the weighted average price index on the DAM (day-ahead market) for the last two months (the month of electricity supply and the month preceding it) or the weighted average price index on the UEEX for the same period (the higher index is taken into account) and the producer’s cost of goods.
