The Ukrainian power system is being restored after the ninth massive Russian attack. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

Emergency and scheduled repairs are underway at power facilities. The system still has a power deficit.

“Yesterday, on August 26, the enemy launched the largest missile and drone attack on the Ukrainian power system since the beginning of the war. Ukrenergo’s repair teams have already begun emergency repair work. Power engineers will work 24/7 to return electricity to Ukrainians’ homes as soon as possible,” the Energy Ministry said.

On August 26, Ukraine received emergency assistance from the power systems of Poland and Slovakia.

No exports are taking place and are not expected.

The Ministry of Energy also noted that 543 settlements were completely or partially de-energized due to the fighting and other reasons. In particular, 2 settlements in Mykolaiv region remain without power supply as of this morning due to the weather.
