We congratulate Svitlana Hrynchuk on her official appointment as Ukraine’s Minister of Energy!

In the newly formed Cabinet, she will lead one of the country’s most strategic and vital sectors — energy policy — which is essential not only for national security but also for economic resilience and long-term development.

Svitlana has already proven herself to be a competent, systematic, and partnership-oriented leader. She previously served as Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and as the head of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources. Her experience spans reform implementation, international integration, climate policy, and sustainable development.

In her first public statement following the appointment, she emphasized:

“Energy is the foundation of the economy. The key task today is to ensure the country has the resources it needs to live and work: light and heat for people, energy for industry. There is no room for error here.”

Svitlana Hrynchuk represents a new generation of leaders — professional, forward-thinking, and impact-driven.

We at Global 100% RE Ukraine especially highlight the importance of the following priorities:
• accelerating the development of renewable energy as a foundation of resilience,
• deepening integration with the European energy system,
• delivering on Ukraine’s climate commitments,
• and shaping a stable, transparent investment environment for the sector.

Major challenges lie ahead: restoring critical infrastructure, preparing for the winter season, scaling renewables, adapting to evolving market dynamics — and above all, ensuring that every home and industry has reliable access to light and energy.

Global 100% RE Ukraine is ready to work alongside Minister Hrynchuk and her team to make the energy sector a strong and reliable pillar of Ukraine’s economy, communities, and future.
