The Committee on Electricity Markets has been launched at the SEAU

The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine has launched the Committee on Electricity Markets.

According to the SEAU, the key tasks of the newly created Committee include supporting commercial and private solar power plants in their work in the wholesale and retail electricity markets, as well as developing effective solutions to improve the rules, methodologies and other regulations governing the operation of the DAM, IDM, balancing, ancillary services, bilateral agreements and other trading-related issues.

The Committee was chaired by Volodymyr Yevdokimov, an expert on electricity markets and a scientist in the field of energy modelling. He has many years of experience in the energy sector, including as the head of the Market Operator and a member of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission.
