UABIO visited Biogas PowerON in Copenhagen

The Bioenergy Association of Ukraine was represented at the Biogas PowerON conference, which took place on September 25-26, 2024 in Denmark.

According to the Association, UABIO legal expert Anna Pastukh took part in the conference.

The conference brought together European leaders in the field of biogas and biomethane to discuss the latest trends, challenges and future opportunities for the development of green energy.

Key topics included:
biogas market growth in Europe and regulatory trends;
the role of biomethane in the decarbonization of industry;
innovations in gas network infrastructure;
strategies for successful optimization of biogas projects.

UABIO’s participation emphasizes Ukraine’s significant role in the global biomethane market, focusing on the use of its significant agricultural potential to promote sustainable energy solutions.

As noted in the Association, its representatives are pleased to be part of the discussion on how biomethane can drive Europe’s green future and are proud of UABIO’s contribution to the development of renewable energy in Ukraine and beyond.
