UWEA to cooperate with Mykolaiv Energy Efficiency Centre
07.02.2025On February 5, 2025, the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association and the Mykolaiv Energy Efficiency Center signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
According to the UWEA, this initiative will become a platform for active exchange of experience, raising awareness of professionals and the community, as well as the introduction of modern technologies that will bring us closer to energy independence.
“Today, Ukraine’s energy independence is being formed not only at the state level, but also in communities, which play a key role in the implementation of renewable energy. Cooperation with local authorities and energy efficiency centers helps to implement innovative solutions, create jobs and increase the resilience of regions to energy challenges. We are confident that cooperation with the Mykolaiv Energy Efficiency Center will be another step towards ensuring that Ukrainian communities receive clean, affordable and reliable energy,” said Andriy Konechenkov, Chairman of the Board of UWEA.
The Mykolaiv Energy Efficiency Center plays an important role in modernizing the city’s energy infrastructure, introducing modern technologies and reducing energy consumption. In partnership with the UWEA, it will focus on developing local renewable energy initiatives, facilitating the integration of wind energy projects, and creating a more sustainable and secure energy system for the community.
