Зелений перехід: ключ до енергетичної безпеки України
23.06.2025Ukraine is actively working on strengthening its energy security through the development of renewable energy sources. A key element of this strategy is the green transition, which will reduce the country’s dependence on imported energy resources and strengthen its domestic energy market.
Mykola Kolisnyk, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine, stated:
“The green transition is a path to strengthening energy security and a strategic necessity for our energy independence. We value the expertise of international partners who help shape solutions based on analytics and support our transformation.”

- Localization of production of solar panels, wind turbines, and other green technologies, which will be a critical step in strengthening the country’s energy security.
- Creation of new jobs in the renewable energy sector, development of qualified personnel, and attracting investment to support the energy independence of Ukraine.

During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:
- Prospects for the localization of production and the creation of new jobs in the green sector.
- Opportunities for collaboration with international partners to implement these initiatives.
- The role of developing qualified personnel in ensuring a sustainable energy transition.

We thank the experts from Berlin Economics for their in-depth analysis and support in developing a sustainable energy landscape in Ukraine. We also express our gratitude to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine for their active participation in implementing and supporting initiatives in renewable energy.
We continue to work on the development of renewable energy sources to ensure Ukraine’s energy security and sustainable economic development.
