Applications Open for 100 gREen AWARDS 2026: Seeking Projects Transforming Ukraine’s Energy Sector

Ukraine is transforming its energy sector not just through strategies and plans for the future. Today, projects are already being implemented across the country that make local communities, businesses, and critical infrastructure more energy-independent, resilient, and technologically advanced.

Green energy technologies today are about more than decarbonization and energy transition. They represent one of the frontlines of the energy sector, enhancing the resilience of the Ukrainian economy, communities, and the state.

Global 100 RE Ukraine announces the call for applications for 100 gREen AWARDS 2026 — an annual award celebrating the best implemented projects in green transformation and decarbonization in Ukraine.

The goal of the 100 gREen AWARDS is to bring visibility to working solutions, highlight the teams behind them, and demonstrate how Ukraine’s green transformation is happening in practice.

We Are Not Looking for Ideas. We Are Seeking Implemented Solutions.

Solar and wind generation, bioenergy, energy storage systems, energy efficiency, modernization of critical and social infrastructure, as well as new technological and financial solutions — 100 gREen AWARDS 2026 aims to feature projects that are actively shaping Ukraine’s new energy reality.

Key requirement: the project must be commissioned in 2026.

Applications are open to:

• Energy market companies and market participants;

• Territorial communities;

• Investors, banks, and funds;

• International donors;

• Engineering and installation companies;

• Other organizations and teams that have implemented green transformation projects.

Participation in the selection process is free of charge.

Applicants may list all partners involved in project implementation. The 100 gREen AWARDS recognizes not only technology and performance results, but also the teams, partnerships, and individuals who made these solutions possible.

From the Inaugural Awards to New Stories of Green Transformation

The first edition of the 100 gREen AWARDS brought together projects in renewable energy, energy efficiency, bioenergy, storage systems, and energy modernization.

As a result, 18 implemented projects received 100 gREen AWARD-2025 honors.

Behind each award is a tangible result: new generating capacity, reduced energy consumption, increased autonomy for hospitals and water utilities, and the modernization of enterprises, communities, and social infrastructure.

In 2026, we continue searching for these impactful stories.

Projects that do not merely talk about the future of green energy in Ukraine — but are actively building it today. Projects that simultaneously drive decarbonization, energy independence, and national resilience.
