

A 93 MW wind farm will be built in Kirovohrad region
07.04.2025ETG.UA, a gas and electricity supplier, has started construction of the first phase of a wind farm in Kirovograd region.
The first phase of construction includes the installation of three wind turbines manufactured by Vestas, a well-known Danish manufacturer, with a capacity of 18.6 MW. The total capacity of the wind farm will be 93 MW.
According to the company, the construction of the first phase is financed with the support of JSB Ukrgasbank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) using financial instruments, including a credit risk guarantee from the EBRD.
‘The total financing for this stage is EUR 26 million, including a green letter of credit. The first stage includes the installation of three wind turbines from the well-known Danish manufacturer Vestas with a total capacity of 18.6 MW,’ the statement said.
The company notes that it started investing in the project in April 2022.
