News

Construction is nearing completion on a solar power plant above parking at Kyiv’s UNIT.City innovation park — one of the largest such facilities in Ukraine. The project exemplifies the integration of sustainable energy solutions in urban infrastructure.

The structure spans 0.6 hectares and will deliver 1.3 MW of installed capacity. A 2 MW energy storage system is planned for installation by the end of 2025. The project is financed by UDPR, part of the UFuture group.

The solar power plant above the parking area will cover 414 parking spaces and provide part of the business campus’s internal electricity demand. Operating fully off-grid, it offers key benefits such as energy independence, vehicle protection from sun and hail, lower electricity costs, and more efficient use of urban space.

The project follows the model of a similar installation at Emily Resort in Lviv, demonstrating the scalability of such solutions nationwide.
