The energy transformation of Ukrainian communities is impossible without effective interaction between local governments, business, and investors. This was emphasized by Oleksandr Dombrovskyi, Chairman of the Board of Global 100% RE Ukraine, during the Public-Private Partnership Development Forum organized by the Association of Small Towns of Ukraine.
During his speech, he stressed that the modern development model of the Ukrainian energy sector must be based on the principles of decentralization, community energy independence, and the widespread adoption of renewable energy sources.
According to Oleksandr Dombrovskyi, it is public-private partnership that creates the necessary conditions for implementing large-scale energy projects, provides communities with access to investments and modern technologies, and fosters the creation of a resilient and decentralized energy system.
“Community energy resilience is impossible without partnership between local government, business, and investors,” Oleksandr Dombrovskyi emphasized.
Forum participants discussed practical mechanisms for developing public-private partnerships, investment attraction tools, and opportunities for implementing joint projects aimed at rebuilding communities and strengthening their energy resilience.
The forum served as an important platform for a professional dialogue among representatives of local governments, the public sector, business, and the expert community on developing sustainable energy and implementing modern cooperation models that address the challenges of Ukraine’s reconstruction.
