Green Energy Club: Experts Discussed Strategic Directions for Green Energy Development and New Opportunities for Global 100 RE Ukraine

On September 17, Kyiv hosted another meeting of the Green Energy Club — a communication platform of Global 100 RE Ukraine that brings together Union Board members and invited green energy experts every month. This time, the focus was on the strategic development of the organization, opportunities for international cooperation and grant funding, as well as new approaches to communication.

The Green Energy Club continues its tradition of regular professional meetings created for an open exchange of opinions, expertise, and ideas among representatives of industry associations, business, and the expert community.

One of the central topics of the September meeting was building grant consortiums and scaling the attraction of international support for institutional development and strengthening the professional competencies of Global 100 RE Ukraine and its member associations.

Participants discussed opportunities to pool the expertise of various organizations around joint projects and form partnerships capable of attracting additional resources to develop the green energy sector.

Strategic Vision up to 2040–2050

A dedicated segment of the discussion was focused on updating Global 100 RE Ukraine’s strategic goals for the 2040–2050 perspective.

Board members and invited experts shared their visions for the Union’s future directions amid the transformation of the Ukrainian energy sector, the development of renewable energy sources, and the deepening of Ukraine’s integration into the European energy area.

In particular, they addressed the need to form a long-term vision that considers not only current industry challenges but also the technological and economic shifts that will define energy development over the coming decades.

New PR Tools of Global 100 RE Ukraine

Another area covered during the meeting was the presentation of results from transforming Global 100 RE Ukraine’s PR tools in 2026.

In recent months, the organization has introduced new digital tools and formats into its communication work. These include using artificial intelligence for media monitoring and handling green energy news, expanding a weekly information digest, creating in-house expert video content, and adapting materials for various digital platforms and audiences.

Special attention was given to how modern technologies can make communication more prompt and systematic while maintaining editorial oversight and information quality.

The Green Energy Club remains a platform for regular professional dialogue, enabling Global 100 RE Ukraine members and guest experts to address current challenges, establish shared strategies, and define new areas of cooperation to advance Ukraine’s green energy sector.
