Committee on Energy Storage Installations Established at SEAU

The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine has launched the Committee on Energy Storage Facilities (ESF).

The key tasks of the Committee will be:

• development of best practices for the integration of solar power plants with energy storage systems;
• development of off-grid solar power plants and autonomous energy storage facilities operating on a market basis;
• improvement of legislation to stimulate the development of energy storage facilities in Ukraine.

According to SEAU, the newly created Committee will be headed by Sergiy Ruchko, who previously headed the Committee on Home Solar Power Plants (HSPP). He is a member of the SEAU Board and founder of the GreenPowerTalk solar power forum.

Ruslan Cherney, a member of the SEAU Board, became the new Chairman of the Committee on Home Solar Power Plants.
