MHP Eco Energy has developed Europe’s first mobile biogas production laboratory

Ukraine has created the first mobile laboratory that tests biogas technologies directly on site.

This was announced by Oleksandr Dombrovskyі, President of MHP Eco Energy and Chairman of the Board of Global 100% RE Ukraine, on his Facebook page.

The laboratory is based on a sea container and can be easily transported to any production or research site.

According to Dombrovskyі, the laboratory equipment is capable of performing a wide range of tasks:

• analysis and research of incoming raw material flows;
• practical testing of technological modes;
• mixing, loading, hydrolysis;
• optimisation of biogas yield;
• diagnostics and control of the main technical and economic characteristics of the project before the design and construction phase.

The mobile format helps to reduce risks, save time and adapt solutions to specific conditions.

The mobile system was developed as part of BIOMETHAVERSE, a pan-European biogas research collaboration supported by the European Commission. Earlier, we prepared a series of interviews about this project.
