Ukrnafta installs a solar power plant at a hospital in Lviv region

Ukrnafta filling station and the local authorities of Boryslav, Lviv region, have installed a 30 kW solar power plant on the roof of the city hospital worth almost UAH 2 million.
Ukrnafta allocated UAH 1 million to install solar panels on the roof of the hospital, while the rest of the funds – approximately UAH 835,000 – were co-financed from the city budget to install 40 kWh batteries.
The solar power plant was put into operation in January this year. The payback period of the project is about a year.
The Boryslav City Council noted that the SPP, which was opened on January 7, will produce approximately 25,000 kWh per year, which will save up to 35% of the electricity needed to operate the building.
