The Ukrainian Hydrogen Council has joined the African Hydrogen Partnership (AHP), becoming the first representative from Eastern Europe to become a member of this prestigious alliance.

Dr. Innesent Uwujaren, Director and Chairman of the UWP, congratulated the Ukrainian Water Council and emphasized the importance of international alliances in addressing common challenges. The cooperation between the WUA and the UIA is aimed at solving problems, such as the creation of environmentally friendly plants for the production of fertilizers for agriculture, which are especially important for the Ukrainian economy, which is heavily dependent on sectors that are difficult to decarbonize without hydrogen.

Polina Kazakevych, OIA President, expressed her enthusiasm, saying: “Joining the African Hydrogen Partnership is a significant step towards a global alliance for sustainable energy. Together we are lighting the way to energy independence, environmental stewardship and a brighter, greener future.”

Dr. Oleksandr Repkin, Founder and Member of the Board of UIA, emphasized the importance of strategic cooperation, highlighting the incredible opportunity for cooperation between Ukraine and Africa due to their abundant renewable resources and growing demand for energy.
